Teachers in Education have said from day 1 that it is up to the parent to be involved in their child's school for total support of each child's learning experience. If the parent was not interested/present in his/her child's studies prior to March 16th, then this SIP is especially difficult. If that child only shines when they feel the competitive nature of fellow classmates, then that student may very well be struggling sitting alone staring at a digital screen to receive their lessons from their teacher. If your child is a gamer, then he or she is probably excelling in this new distance learning model that the schools are now thrown into. The spouse who is beaten routinely when the other is having a rough time or a bad day, may feel even more stuck in his/her current tortured scenario now that the spouse never leaves the house.
Basically, many different realities exist for everyone right now. It is our humanness that can raise or lower our level of happiness. It is our choice as to what we allow over and into our lives. The SIP is important to protect the world but having feelings of struggle, depression and being held back, are also important to be aware of. If we are aware, then we can take necessary steps to do something about them. If you need an ear, I am here. I am not a licensed Therapist or Psychologist but I do work in the school district and with others. I will listen, help you reclaim your purpose, passion, motivation and inspiration. You may not agree or even like the tasks that are placed before you but through proven steps, you will be able to make the necessary changes needed for you to feel more whole.
