Life happens. Regardless of how well we plan or organize ourselves life's moments will alter our course. This can be curtailed. It only takes a second to re-group, second check a plan, or take a deep breathe. All of these can help settle a restless spirit, gain a new outlook or help you realize when you may have strayed off your desired course. Take a second and just breath in deeply through your nose. Now hold it for 10 seconds. Now exhale through the mouth with intent to empty the lungs of all used air. This will not only relax your mind, it can have positive effects on your state of mind and being. Who couldn't use more of that.
